Full job description

The Royal Free Hospital has a busy theatres and ICU department, needing specialist input to make treatment plans for the numerous complex patients that they care for. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic MDT Coordinator to support our friendly clinical leadership team. The successful applicant will assistant in the provision of the weekly MDTs based at the Royal Free Hospital site.

The post holder will be able to work on their own initiative and able to think innovatively to optimise the meetings.

The role of the MDT Coordinator will be responsible for the weekly MDT meetings for ICU and those for complex surgical review, which will involve preparation, coordination, documentation and post meeting actions.

You should have excellent communication skills, together with the ability to organise and motivate others as well demonstrating significant initiative. The post holder will need to be adaptable, confident, and able to prioritise a combination of diverse demands and work autonomously.

Working autonomously, under the direction of the relevant clinical team, the post holder will collate referrals produced by the clinical teams and prepare the MDT in accordance to the agreed framework, In addition, the post holder will liaise with external teams to ensure timely transfer of data and resolving any data queries.

The post holder will work within the Trust guidelines an d local SOPs at all times.
