ESG Leadership Team Administrator (12-month Fixed-Term Contract)

Salary: National ranging from £25,000 to £32,000 and London from £27,500 to £35,000

The team/department
Led by Sacha Sadan, the FCA’s first ESG Director, the ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) Division is responsible for developing and coordinating delivery of the FCA’s strategy and commitments in the ESG space – spanning the FCA’s roles as both a regulator and an operating entity. The division is responsible for embedding ESG strategy into all divisions and departments right across the FCA.
The ESG Division comprises a group of committed, highly collaborative individuals, who are passionate about driving positive change and healthy culture and governance.
What you will be doing (the role)
  • Working as part of a team of 3 Administrators, who provides general admin support to 4 Managers
  • Diary management, including managing clashes, organising travel and agendas
  • Arranging and writing up meeting minutes and/ or action points
  • Help in organising of events both within the FCA and externally (such as away days)
  • Working with other Administrators within ESG to ensure the smooth running of the work of the teams and periodically covering for the Head of Department/Director PA

The skills and experience you will have
Minimum

  • Previous administration experience
  • Evidence of strong written communication skills
  • Demonstrable evidence of minute taking experience
Essential
  • Evidence of teamwork and in partnership – the ability to work actively and effectively with others to achieve outcomes in both formal and informal teams
  • Proficiency in IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages
  • Ability to look ahead, plan work and act on own initiative; as well as being a team player with a flexible and willing approach
  • Good organisational and time management skills; able to prioritise and manage workload
  • Good communication skills, ability to interact with people at all levels (oral & written)
  • Flexible, willing to get things done and a can-do attitude
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with a good eye for detail
