In this post you will be working within the schools speech and language therapy team. You will manage a caseload of children and young people with support from a senior SLT. The post holder will provide speech and language therapy to a designated caseload of children with a range of speech, language and communication, eating/drinking difficulties and Special Educational Needs (SEN) attending schools in and around Harrow. A significant proportion of these children will be bilingual. You will be expected to manage your own caseload with minimal support from a senior therapist. This post will involve travelling between schools and working alongside teaching staff and parents to ensure appropriate therapy programmes and education plans are in place for the children under their care. You will be expected to work collaboratively children/young people (CYP), parents/carers and with colleagues in health, education and social care in planning and delivery of services.
