Staff Support Officer

In this role, you’ll:
Play a key role in providing support to crew and the Train Crew Operations. You will be responsible for attesting drivers and guards all staff on and off duty. You would be required to check that crew is fit for duty and have all the required equipment, which are fully functional or charged as needed, like the radios etc.
You will provide administrative assistance and support such as Crew timesheets, ensuring Train Crew receive correspondence such as circulars, Safety Critical Information, and monitor train crewing equipment. This role also involves accountability in regards to handling money and the safe transferring and receipting of the till to and from the crew.
You will focus on risk identification, mitigation or escalation whatever is essential to NSWT safety critical roles ensuring an enhanced standard across both safety and operational performance. You will maintain various essential records and ensure that everyone is across any amendments or roster alterations.

About you
You are an autonomous operator who is consistently delivering efficiency and contributing to and supporting the objectives as an effective team member. You are diligent, possess great attention to detail and are well versed with records management. You are known for your values, promote and adhere to the Public Sector Values of Integrity, Trust, Service and Accountability, and the organisation’s Code of Conduct.
Any knowledge of the NSW TrainLink network and services, including basic operational knowledge of train crew policies and procedures, Awards, operating agreements and relevant parts of legislation would set you up for success in this critical role
You must be willing to commit to shift work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends, nights and public holidays
