Full job description

We are seeking a Faculty Executive Support Coordinator to provide professional support to senior staff in the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, alongside other support and operational duties.

Working in a collaborative and committed team across two campus locations, you will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive administrative service along with a broader support role between the Faculty Leadership Team and the wider University. This role involves coordinating a wide range of administrative functions and plays a crucial role in ensuring administrative processes are efficient and effective, that communication is clear and timely, data and information is accurate and compliant with university policies and procedures, whilst maintaining confidentiality in managing sensitive information.

The Person

Having had previous experience of working in a support role, you will be flexible, confident and proactive in your approach with meticulous attention to detail. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, or have relevant equivalent experience, ideally in Higher Education, with the ability to demonstrate great organisation skills as well as the ability to meet conflicting deadlines.

Excellent diary management skills are essential, as well as the effective preparation of documentation on behalf of staff you support. You will have extensive experience of working with a variety of MS software packages to produce high quality documentation.

Further information

This is a full time, fixed-term position until 31 July 2024 with a starting salary of £32,271.00 per annum.

Interviews are expected to be held remotely on week commencing 8th April 2024 via MS Teams.

This position is based in our Penrhyn Road and Kingston Hill locations and the appointed candidate will be expected to commute to both as needed.
