At London North West we offer a wide range of investigations including resting ECGs, 24 hour ECG and BP monitoring, Event Recording,
Transthoracic and Transoesophageal Echocardiography, Stress echo, Angiograms/PCI, pacemaker/ICD/CRT-p implants and follow-up both face
to face and remote.
You should be appropriately qualified and skilled in performing and reporting non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests and have relevant experience with interventional procedures, device implants and follow-ups, as well as working towards your IBHRE or BHRS exams.
We will also consider new graduates but they will be recruited at a lower band and will be promoted as a Band 6 once they reach relevant
competencies.
Main duties of the job:
The cardiology Services at LNW offers a wide comprehensive range of investigations and treatments appropriate to a large DGH.
You will be part of a team delivering a wide range of non-invasive and invasive specialist procedures including interventional procedures and
device implants and follow-ups. Participation on the on call rota is an essential part of this role.
Within the echocardiography field, to perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with [1] BSE minimum data set and [2] local reporting guidelines. Assist with stress echo’s, TOE’s. and non invasive cardiology testing.
7 day working is included in this role.
